Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21/0726

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which you may use the Rituo website, app and services and purchase products from us. By accessing our site, using the Rituo app or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our Services.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Rituo and “you” refers to the user or customer.

1. About Rituo

Rituo operates this website and store to offer daily wellness rituals and dietary supplements. Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services.

You can contact us at:
[Company name]
[Registered address]
Email: [contact email]

2. Our Services

Our Services include:

  • The Rituo website and online store

  • The Rituo app and digital rituals

  • Our supplements and physical products

  • Any related content, emails, social channels and customer support

The information provided through our Services is for general wellbeing and educational purposes only and should not be regarded as medical advice. Please review our Supplement & Health Disclaimer for more detail.

3. Eligibility

To purchase from our store or use our Services you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

  • Provide accurate and complete information during checkout and account creation

4. Products, descriptions and availability

We work to ensure that product images, descriptions and information are accurate and up-to-date. However, minor variations in colour, packaging or wording may occur. We may change or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

All products are offered subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after you have placed an order, we will notify you and issue a refund for that item.

5. Pricing, bundles and promotions

All prices on the site are shown in [currency, e.g. GBP] and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time; such changes will not affect orders already accepted.

We may offer bundle pricing and promotions, including:

  • Single pouches at the standard price

  • Multi-pouch bundles with discounted total prices

  • Subscribe & Save options with discounted recurring pricing

Details of current pricing and any savings will be shown on the relevant product and bundle pages at the time of purchase.

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional terms, including start/end dates, usage limits and exclusions. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

6. Orders and contract formation

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase products from us in accordance with these Terms. After you submit an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email acknowledges that we have received your order but does not guarantee acceptance.

A contract between you and Rituo is formed only when we dispatch the products and send a shipping confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, including after acceptance, for example where:

  • Products are out of stock

  • There are pricing or description errors

  • We suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity

If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a refund for the relevant amount.

7. Payment

We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout (for example, debit/credit card, digital wallets and other payment services). By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method and that all details provided are accurate.

Payment for one-time purchases is taken at the point of order. Subscription payments are processed on a recurring basis in accordance with Section 8 below.

8. Subscriptions and auto-renewals

We offer subscription options (for example “Monthly Ritual” or “Subscribe & Save”) for certain products. When you purchase a subscription:

  • You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) at the then-current subscription price, plus applicable taxes and shipping.

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.

You can manage, pause or cancel your subscription through your account, or by contacting us at [email]. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, you must cancel before the renewal date indicated in your account or confirmation emails.

Changes to subscription pricing will be communicated in advance and will take effect from your next billing cycle. Orders that have already been processed or shipped before you change or cancel your subscription cannot usually be modified or refunded.

9. Shipping, delivery and risk

We currently ship to [list of countries/regions]. Estimated delivery times, costs and any free-shipping thresholds are shown at checkout and may change from time to time.

Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provide. Please check your order carefully on arrival. If a product is damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact us within a reasonable period with your order details and photos where possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

10. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Your consumer rights will depend on your location. In addition to any statutory rights, our returns approach is as follows:

  • For hygiene and safety reasons, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused supplements in their original packaging, subject to our discretion and within [insert number] days of delivery.

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or we have made an error.

Details may be updated in a separate Shipping & Returns page. In case of conflict, the specific returns policy on the site at the time of your order will apply.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Use of the Rituo app and content

The Rituo app, digital rituals, prompts, articles and other content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the app and content solely for your own wellbeing routines.

You must not:

  • Copy, distribute, modify or create derivative works from the app or content

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

  • Use the app or content for medical, diagnostic or therapeutic services

  • Use the app in a way that is unlawful or harms others

We may update, suspend or discontinue the app or parts of it at any time.

12. Accounts and security

To use certain features you may need to create an account and choose a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities that occur under your account.

Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access or security breach. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that we believe are being misused or used in breach of these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Rituo website and app – including text, graphics, logos, product names, imagery, videos, audio, software and design – is owned by or licensed to Rituo and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent, except as necessary to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

14. Health information and disclaimers

Our products are food supplements, not medicines, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The information we provide is not medical advice and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Please review our Supplement & Health Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms and applies to your use of our products and content.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rituo will not be responsible for:

  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage

  • Any loss arising from your failure to follow product instructions or from your misuse of the products

  • Any loss resulting from your reliance on information provided through the Services instead of seeking professional advice

Our total liability to you for any loss arising out of or in connection with the Services or any order will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant order.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales (or insert your jurisdiction). You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim in that country instead.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Any changes will take effect when they are posted on the site. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.
